Job Location: Johannesburg
Our client is an employee-owned independent consultancy offering a range of professional services within the fields of Environmental, Geotechnical Engineering, GIS, Renewable Energy (solar and wind farms) & Water.

With offices in South/Southern Africa and EU, the company has international experience including in many African countries. The Chief Executive Officer will manage and provide leadership to the Group of Companies for all aspects of the company’s operations with an emphasis on ensuring that the Business Strategy aligns to growth, profit, and return on investment.

Reporting to: Board of Directors and Non-Executive Director Key Work Outputs: Managing the Boards for the Group of Companies. In consultation with the different Board of Directors set the Group Business Strategy in line with the Group policy. Ensure that the Group has the necessary human capital and resources to meet both client and business needs. Ensure long term sustainability and growth of the Group making appropriate decisions in consultation with the Group Board of Directors. Ensuring that there is a sustainable business continuity plan for the Group. Ensuring that there is adequate client retention, business development and growth strategies in place. Growth strategy to expand the current Group of Companies by way of, market expansion, service offering expansion, diversification, and acquisition. Pursuing strategic business opportunities to drive growth and profitability. Evaluate the Group’s financial and operational plan for continual improvements and a continual increase of operating efficiencies.

Qualification/Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• Qualifications: Degree in Science or Engineering Degree with post graduate business training Knowledge/ Skills:

• Solid technical expertise in water, environmental, geotechnical consulting Organisational skills Business Development and networking skills
• Vision and adaptability

Experience:

• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in a leadership role with a track record of successfully delivering results and managing a team
• Recognised expert in the Industry
