The African Development Bank is organizing from 27 to 28 June 2023 via videoconference, a series of workshops on stakeholder engagement for the Electricity Regulatory Index (ERI) for Francophone countries.

Objective: exchange with the participating countries on the development of this Index – its structure, but also the process of collecting, verifying, and validating the data. This series of workshops is an opportunity to gather valuable country-level inputs and suggestions that will help improve future Index releases in 2024.

The webinars will allow you to:

• re-engage and unite regulators and utilities around this Electricity Regulatory Index, to ensure understanding of the methodology and intended short, medium, and long-term goals;

• present and explain in detail the methodology used to measure the indicators of the Index;

• collect contributions for future editions of the Index.

This series of stakeholder engagement workshops will take the form of webinars, with interactive sessions. Representatives of national regulatory authorities and electricity distribution utilities will participate in the technical sessions.
